Compared to the first video I had to prepare way more for this one since I had to dive into a more complicated Spanish conversation. I found myself looking up the translations of the sentences to find out what they meant. I feel like If my partner and I had practiced our conversation more it would have been more smooth and the Spanish would have been more fluent from both sides of the conversation. If there was one thing that I could have changed during this process I would have liked to take advantage of the time given so I wouldn't have stressed out over nothing. The difference between my first video and this video is tremendous and I feel like that is part to me wanting to involve myself more in this class and to try and improve my Spanish speaking in total. But I also feel like jumping so far forward into my Spanish speaking leaves me feeling lost in the conversation because I am just memorizing the words off the script. Moving forward into this semester I am excited to see myself grow as a Spanish speaker and to see how much I have improved in my next video. In the future I would like to be able to talk about topics such as sports, and hobbies because I feel like those topics can create the most interesting conversations. I hope to challenge myself by talking with non Spanish speakers and choosing challenging topics to help myself improve.
A special thanks to Anders for being my partner and being able to work on our script out of school, thank you for being so flexible and wanting to do your best in the video!
